Prescribing Pharmacist
Our pharmacist have obtained additional prescribing authority from the Alberta College of Pharmacy. A prescribing pharmacist may issue a prescription after assessing a patient for a minor ailment (such as a cold sore, seasonal allergy) or pre-existing and previously diagnosed condition or vaccines and injections. They are not able to prescribe everything, like narcotics or controlled drugs. The pharmacist is only able to prescribe within their scope of practice.
